Two loyalty programs cover most of the Las Vegas Strip. Caesars Rewards runs Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Flamingo, Horseshoe, The LINQ, and Harrah's. MGM Rewards runs Bellagio, ARIA, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, The Cosmopolitan, Park MGM, New York-New York, Luxor, and Excalibur. The big independents run their own: Wynn and Encore on Wynn Rewards, Venetian and Palazzo on Venetian Rewards, Fontainebleau on its own program. How casino loyalty tiers actually work

Both programs use two separate currencies, and confusing them is the number one mistake. • Diamond Plus - 25,000 Tier Credits, richer versions of the Diamond perks
• Diamond Elite - 75,000 Tier Credits
• Seven Stars - 150,000 Tier Credits, the invitation-grade top tier with the deepest comps and dedicated service

Diamond is the sweet spot for most travelers. Killing resort fees alone can save hundreds over a few trips, and the lounge plus celebration dinner make it the tier worth aiming for if you play across Caesars properties.

• Pearl - 20,000 Tier Credits, where the first real perks kick in
• Gold - the mid-high tier, stronger comps and priority service
• Platinum - a high tier that climbs into six figures of Tier Credits
• NOIR - the invitation-only top tier, the deepest service and comps MGM offers

MGM's marquee benefits, waived resort fees and serious comps, concentrate at Pearl and above. If Bellagio, ARIA, or The Cosmopolitan is your home base, this is the ladder to climb.

The fastest way up: a tier match

You do not always have to earn a tier from scratch. Casinos will often match the status you already hold somewhere else, so your Caesars Diamond can become MGM Pearl or Gold without re-earning it.
